The Aastra is an innovative call manager, which is not hardware dependent and therefore does not require proprietary ITC hardware. Instead, this powerful communication server can be installed on any standard WindowsTM PC.
This innovative soft PBX can support up to 200 users and delivers all the features and functionality of the powerful OpenCom 100 system family. With compatible pc interface cards or gateways, the Aastra supports all trunk line types (analogue, ISDN, SIP, SIP-DDI) as well as various subscriber accesses (analogue, ISDN, IP) system telephones (Aastra 677xip) and SIP terminals. The addition of DECT over IP® enables you to create a professional mobility network fast and easily.
The communication server can meet certain requirements on SIP trunks, BRI and PRI etc. by using licenses. In addition, for all OpenCom 100 products, internal applications such as; Voice Mail, Auto Attendant, Hotel Solution, Call Data Recording etc. can be tested for 30 days including all functions. Activation of the applications work via the web configuration interface. All that is required for configuration is a web browser.
The Aastra can easily demonstrate its power anywhere you have an infrastructure totally based on IP. The Aastra was awarded the "Innovationspreis IT" in the category: VoIP. The award "Innovationspreis-IT" is supported by the German government (ministry of trade, industry and technology).
